As the creator and director of a charitable non-profit organization (Advocates For Grandparent-Grandchild Connection) that helps disenfranchised grandparents, I'm finally revealing my secret.
Grand Distance is my story about how I became an "undercover grandma" using covert means so that I could see my grandson grow-up.
Why am I telling it all now? Because the grandchild is no longer a child, therefore there are no negative consequences for revealing the truth.
The reason to go public is to help other grandparents understand that they have choices when faced with grandparent visitation issues.
